Join our fun-filled Vaqueritos Soccer Program for players up to age 14, welcoming all ability levels. Our program emphasizes individual player development through intentional technical training and engaging environments that build creativity, problem-solving, and confidence using U.S. Soccer’s Play-Practice-Play model and Guided Discovery.
Program Details
Professional Training
Training sessions are led by paid soccer professionals within a 12:1 player-to-coach ratio. Sessions are designed to be fun yet challenging, with a focus on technical skill development…but always finishing with some type of competitive game.
Saturday PlayDates
Fun, small-sided pick-up games with professional oversight to maximize touches on the ball and opportunities to “Go to Goal”. PlayDates are organized to encourage application of learned skills in a pressure-free game environment.
Player Pathway Opportunities
Players receive ongoing feedback and skill assessments, with dedicated evaluation dates. Clear criteria guide progression and awards starting with the Bronze Buckaroos all the way to the venerable, Vaqueros Diamond Club.

A welcoming space and fun environment to meet and form new, lasting friendships that can extend into school, community, and life.

What Makes Our Program Different
Spring Soccer is intentionally designed to focus on development through fun, challenging activities and games, rather than traditional team-based results. Sessions are led by Vaqueros FC Directors and coaching staff, implementing a curriculum centered on ball mastery, including juggling, dribbling, passing and receiving, and shooting.
Simply stated: the more comfortable a player is with the ball...the more fun they will have in the beautiful game of soccer!
Spring Rec Training Days
Our Spring Soccer program offers three days to play each week. Please note that start times are tentative.
Tuesdays
Location: Hilleary Park
Times:
Younger Session: 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm
Older Session: 6 pm to 7:15 pm
Overview: Traditional training session focused on skill development and ball mastery.
Fridays
Location: Meadowbrook Middle School
Times:
Younger Session: 4:30 pm to 5:45 pm
Older Session: 6 pm to 7:15 pm

Saturday Morning

Overview: Small-sided scrimmages. Similar to the street soccer games found in other countries, these pick-up games will be organized by coaches each Saturday based on age and skill level. These games will be free-flowing, encouraging creativity and problem solving.
